Why does my Ford Muscle Car have no power?
I seem to not have any power in the ignition, no gauges light up or move, no humming from the heater motor, nothing at all. Bought a new 20amp fuse that was blown, belonged to accessories. Still gonna try and figure this out though.

Clean the solenoid cables with a wire brush, getting rid on any washers that are rusted. Clean the cable contact at the starter. Then begin trouble shooting. 1: There is a wire that goes to the + side of the starter solenoid that gives Power to the Fuse Box.
Where does electrical power go in a muscle car?
It goes from there directly to the Resistor wire that goes from the ignition switch to the Coil. The White wire that you have bolted there is either WRONG or it goes to your Ignition switch START position. The ONLY time that left nipple above is active is when the Ignition is in the CRANK position.

If you have NO POWER anywhere in your fuse box, (using a good ground) then you need to investigate WHY by starting at the solenoid and going from there. That should keep you busy for a while.

If you don’t have lights then you probably have a blown fusable link. The “main accesory” connection from the battery to the rest of the electrical system is “open” (not connected). GROUND to the block and the Frame and to the Firewall.
Why does my Ford Ranger have no power?
Everything would light up on the dash, turn the key “Click” and no power to anything. I know the connections on the battery are good, i replaced the terminals a few weeks ago, the wires have great contact and I even cleaned down and sanded the terminals for maximum connection.

This is very useful, gives you the power to somewhat diagnose a problem you may or might have with your Mustang be able to go to the dealer knowing more information then they do at times. Just be slick on how you go about letting them know the problem. Dealers seems to hate you diagnosing your car yourself. These are not specific to the Mustang.
