Why does my CVT transmission make a whining sound?
I use only the factory OEM transmission fluids on these and most other specialty transmissions. Some CVT transmissions do have a normal whining sound. You should check with the dealer on any technical service bulletins or updates that need to be performed.

Why does my transmission whine when I shift gears?
If the whining noise seems to change with gear shifts or is coming from your transmission it could be an indication that it is time for new transmission fluid.
