IT may or may not be causing your issues, but I have seen a bad fuel pump do stuff like this. It really sounds more like you’re in limp mode from the CAS. The CAS don’t typically fail however I’ve seen a couple. More likely the connector might need cleaned, or you bend the pins a little bit to get a better connection.
