I have been advised that the transmissions from 5.4 trucks is a better high performance transmission (with a 1999 passenger car valve body added)…than the standard 1995 4R70W trans or even the 1998 and later 4R70W. The “best” trans was identified with a trans. Tag # of XL3P-7000-LA but I am not sure if this is a 4R70W or 4R75W.
