Click to expand… Open the fob where it says ford and there should be a small key inside to open and turn on the car …. The st has a key slot that is hidden next to the steering wheel just pop off the plastic and boom I knew about the key and the cover.

turn key from 0 to ignition 4 times in quick succession, hear a beep, hold any button on the remote for 5 seconds and your should hear another beep, that’s the key programmed, if you have more than one remote press the next remote in quick succession after the first one, they hold up to 4 remotes on memory.
Can a key fob be used to unlock a car?
Can’t unlock/lock the doors by touching anything, nothing responds to the buttons, and the only way I can use it is by taking the key blade out to unlock the door, then putting the fob into the cage behind the plastic cover on the steering column. Pain in the ass having to get that blade out every time I need to get in the car.
