Where does the vibration come from at 1500 rpm?

As I drive and reach 1500rpm, regardless of speed, I can hear a vibration/rattle noise coming from the front right but because it only happens while it’s in gear and moving, it’s very difficult to find.

What causes a vibration in a 6l transmission?

Other sources of a vibration include insufficient damping or isolation of the engine or driveline, an irregular combustion event, and Active Fuel Management (AFM) disturbances. TIP: DEXRON 6 is the only approved automatic transmission fluid (ATF) to be used with 6L transmissions (RPO MYA, MYB, MYC, MYD) at this time.

What kind of car makes a strange noise at 1500 rpm?

My car is a 2009 lc120 invincible 69k miles it has a strange noise at arould 1500rpm and also sounds like there is an owl under the bonnet up to 2000rpm but it runs great so i have stoped worrying about it as its my first diesel. I have allways had V6 and V8 petrol engine cars in the past.

Why does my Land Cruiser VIB at 1500 rpm?

A bit of rubber under the housing cures it for a few months then i either need to move the rubber. The most absurd thing is that the little piece of plastic on the bottom right of the windscreen on te outside picks up on the vibs and reasonates in SHM with it.

What kind of vibration does an Indy bike have?

After changing it, the bike developed a terrible vibration between 1500 to 2500 RPM’s. Shook so bad it started breaking faring mounts. Took it to several shops, both HD and indy guy and none of them could figure it out. They did get it so the vibration only bad between 1300 to 2000 RPM’s, but still unbearable.

Why does my car vibrate at 1700 rpm?

Started it up and no vibration at 1700 now but at 1200-1300 rpms it now vibrates in that rpm range. So having told them that and demonstrating that vibration they ordered a new torque converter and installed it. It was balanced right at the manufacturer as the performance show watched. Re-install then produced the same result.

Why do the RPMs go up when I accelerate?

Also when I accelerate sometimes the rpms wont go up, they will actually slowly drift down, then when I release the accelerator pedal, they jump up quick then fall back down. I have already changed the ignition coils. The spark plugs have maybe 10000 miles on them, theyre ac delco iridium plugs, it has taylor spiro cables on it.

Where does the vibration come from in a Chevy Cruze?

I drove it a bit more today and isolated the problem between 1700 and 1800RPM. When the car was cold, it caused a pretty loud vibration somewhere in front of the passenger area, either in the dash or somewhere near the firewall. As the car warmed up, that noise went away, but you could still hear a distinct vibration around those RPMs.

Why does my steering wheel vibrate when I go over 50 mph?

Be sure to have the rotor checked and skimmed or replaced completely if needed. A worn out or rusted brake caliper pin may be another culprit for vibrations. You will probably feel your steering wheel start to vibrate around 50 miles per hour, which will intensify as you increase your speed, and you’ll sense a burning smell when you stop.

Is it normal for a car to have vibration?

It’s a common rule that cars should run smoothly on a flat road, at any speed. However, if you’ve owned a car long enough, chances are great that your vehicle has developed some vibration issues.

Why does my car vibrate when I slow down?

On the other hand, if your car seems to bounce up and down in the rear end (in RWD vehicles), and you notice the vibration intensifies as you slow down from a high speed, you may be dealing with worn out universal joints (U-joints) on driveshaft. In this case, either the U-joints or the entire driveshaft need replacement.

What does low rpm feel like on a truck?

I’ve been dropping into 5th for 2000 rpms for highway driving in traffic. I don’t think it is a misfire though it is certainly possible; it’s just a strange rumbling that lasts a couple seconds. It feels and sounds like when you run over the rumble strips on the side of the road – just less intense than that.
