What should be the speed of fan in AC?
What should be the speed of fan in AC?
Set the fan speed on high, except on very humid days. When humidity is high, set the fan speed on low for more comfort. The low speed on humid days will cool your home more effectively and remove more moisture from the air because of slower air movement through the cooling equipment.
When to speed up the AC fan speed?
Since the latent heat is the money saver, when you are removing more moisture, or basically changing moist humid air to condensate, you are more efficient. Some folks cant stand a dry house, so if your sinuses are bothering you after 1/2 hour of running the ac, might be time to speed the fan up.
Why does my AC run in fan mode?
It will only blow and circulate air without cooling it. The practice may cause a cooling sensation due to the breeze hitting your skin. However, the air temperature will not decrease a little bit. Running your AC in fan mode will indeed save some energy consumption because your AC compressor would not have to work.
How do you change the fan speed on a Hunker?
A manual can be found online if you no longer have the HVAC owner manual. Locate the fan relay electrical terminal and remove the current fan speed wire (normally “high”) from it. Cut the wire’s terminal connector off with wire cutters. Secure the old speed wire by twisting a wire nut over the end.
When does the radiator turn on when the AC is on?
When the AC is switched on, the compressor clicks on. HOWEVER, the radiator fan does not turn on with the compressor. The rad fan only comes on when the engine gets hot, and it works well to keep the engine temps down. HOWEVER, it is only one speed (a low speed).

When does AC is running, do the condensor fan and radiator fan?
When the Air Conditioning (both front and rear) are running manually (non-auto) and set at maximum, do the condensor fan and radiator fan run at high speed? I asked because my AC is not working and I can’t prove to the dealership that it is not.
Why does the fan not kick in when the AC is turned on?
As long as the AC performs normally and the coolant temp stays in the normal range, the high speed fan operation is not necessarily required and just because the high speed fan doesn’t kick on the moment AC is turned on, doesn’t mean something is broken.
