From what I was able to find there are several fuses associated with the tow package wiring on a 2006 Chevy Silverado. In the instrument panel on the side of the dash you should see RT TRLR ST/TRN for trailer right turn and brake signal and LT TRLR ST/TRN for trailer left turn and brake lights.

The lights on the truck work fine, just the problem through the plug Check the fuses in the under hood fuse block. There is also F11, F28, F30, F53 and F81 fuses that are for the 7 pin plug (the 4pin runs off the same). Hd74ica likes this.
