What kind of key does a Ram 1500 use?
Without the RAM’s key FOB (which the used car dealer did not have), I just opened the door of my just purchased (today) 2017 RAM 1500, and the alarm went off. I’m using the official (and my one and only) Y170-PT RAM 1500 key, which worked great to start the truck, drive the truck, and set the truck’s alarm, so I don’t get it.
