Can a 2010 Ford Fusion run in electric mode?

Why does my hybrid car not go into EV mode?

Why won’t it go into EV mode? The hybrid battery is full charge and road speed is about 30 with foot off the accelerator. After highway driving for several miles, EV mode works. If it is parked for an hour or two, then it won’t go into EV mode with a full battery until it is driven on the highway for several miles.

Why does my Ford Fusion Hybrid not work?

I took it into a dealership and eventually it was discovered that the computer sensed the battery to be over 9 years old and instructed the hybrid system not to work. If the sensor was told that the battery was only 1 year old (over riding the system), the hybrid components worked again. Is this normal? What is the reason for this?

How many miles does a Ford Fusion Hybrid get?

What’s the MPG on a Ford Fusion Hybrid?

The EV Power indicator gauge doesn’t show a bar anymore. It used to show at least 2 green ‘bars’ and kick into quiet EV mode under 40mph. Now the car constantly idles at a stop, ruining the MPGs [from 38 to about 28 now].
