Ospexin/Tenkorex/Cefalexin/Kiflone tablets 500 mg is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections (RTI’s), urinary tract infections (UTI’s), skin and soft tissue infections, otitis media and other infections due to sensitive organisms. Adults. The dosage is 1-4 g daily in divided doses.

It works by fighting bacteria in your body. Cephalexin is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, including upper respiratory infections, ear infections, skin infections, urinary tract infections and bone infections. Cephalexin is used to treat infections in adults and children who are at least 1 year old.
How long do you take co Amoxiclav for?
Do not take Co-amoxiclav for more than 2 weeks. If you still feel unwell you should go back to see the doctor. If you take too much Co-amoxiclav, signs might include an upset stomach (feeling sick, being sick or diarrhoea) or convulsions. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible.

Is cephalexin safe for kidneys?
This drug is substantially excreted by the kidney, and the risk of toxic reactions to this drug may be greater in patients with impaired renal function. Because elderly patients are more likely to have decreased renal function, care should be taken in dose selection [see WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS].
Does azithromycin weaken immune system?
Although azithromycin inhibits a variety of pro-inflammatory pathways, it does not result in full immune suppression as is induced by glucocorticoids and other immunosuppressive therapies.
Can co Amoxiclav cause liver problems?
The liver injury caused by amoxicillin-clavulanate is typically associated with jaundice and can be severe and prolonged (with jaundice lasting 4 to 24 weeks), but rarely results in lasting injury or death.
How safe is cephalexin?
Cephalexin is safe in children at recommended dosages. People with kidney problems are generally prescribed a lower dose of cephalexin, depending on the creatinine clearance. In older adults, cephalexin is safe, but this population is more likely to have decreased kidney function, so dosing may be lower.
