Their keybeds can be found in Korg, Native Instruments and Nord synthesizers and controllers to name a few. This will be quite foreign to a piano player, but will have a synth nerd feeling right at home.

As somebody who has no brand preference at all, Fatar is miles behind IMO. Actually, the TP-40 is a very good action. It is designed more like Yamaha’s GH (X) actions where the weight swings under the lip of the key, rather than pivoting weights like the TP-10, etc.

Is the Kurzweil pc3k6 a Fatar keyboard?
The Kurzweil PC3K6 apparently has a TP/9S action in it but the specs at Kurzweil don’t specify whether it is the Fatar TP/9S unweighted or weighted though the post says they ARE weighted. By looking at the PC3K6 picture, it obviously does NOT have the organ “waterfall” or piano type keys.
