I had a screwed up ECM when I bought my truck; bought a reman unit from All Computer Resources for $146.25 (that is shipping included) and it worked fine. After verifying, I sent the old one to them as a core exchange. Everything went smoothly.

The pcm’s are coded just as the 7.3’s are. The 6.0 stores the vin inside the pcm as well (starting in 05).
