Why did I remove the transfer case from my 4WD?
My 4wd has worked flawlessly ever since. Removed the old one after a couple of months of receiving “Service 4WD” message on console, just in time for winter, just in time because it would not shift the transfer case into Neutral, 4WD HI or 4WD LO any more. So, the old one was removed with the TC still in Rear WD.
