That same size alternator is spec’d for my Acadia without a tow package. The KW7 spec corresponds to GM part number 20838975 so I don’t think that changes. The core dimensions are very close. (CORE SIZE 30 1/4 X 19 X 1 29/32) (TRANS OIL CLR) vs (CORE SIZE 30 X 19 X 1 7/8) (TRANS OIL CLR). Both HD and standard radiators have tranny coolers.

The equipment list doesn’t specify an external trans cooler. The V92 package would also have this. The external trans cooler sits foward of the radiator and is visible through the lower air dam opening on my ’09 Outlook. I’d imagine this was similar to Acadia/Traverse/Enclave.
