And is it likely the dealer can fix it?

How do you fill the gas tank in a Ford Escape?
I tried filling my 2004 Focus with the engine idling, but it has a solenoid valve in the vent line that stays closed when the engine is running. It would cut the nozzle off every couple seconds. I shut the engine off and it filled normally. I just wanted to remind everyone that this thread is for 2020 Escapes.
