IF THE FORD DEALERS KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY SHOULD FIX THE ISSUE. I am having similar transmission issues as many of the other posters on this forum (and all over the internet). The issue first occurred a few years ago. Driving as normal when the vehicle suddenly lost driving power.

It is very loud at idle, sort of sounds like a diesel engine. I’m very thankful (and according to the Ford dealership) this did not happen on the highway as she could have lost all power to the vehicle causing an accident. See all problems of the 2015 Ford Edge .
