Is there a problem with my Sonoma ZR2?

I have a similar problem with a 2003 Sonoma Zr2. After reading some of the responses it might be a worn wire in the steering column from the ignition switch. I could be the ignition switch i have a 98 S10 4banger that had the same problem.
