Is the rear passenger door stuck in central locking?

Is the rear passenger door stuck in central locking?

I have had a 2008 I30 Comfort for just over a year with no problem or faults until this. Unlocked the car using central locking and all the doors unlock except the rear left passenger door. I have open the central locking mechanism manually (feels a bit limp) but door still wont open from inside or either.

What to do if your car door is stuck shut?

It wouldn’t disengage so that you could open the door from the inside. You could only open the door from the outside. Now, the door will not open from the outside so it is just stuck shut and I can’t do anything with it. Do I need to remove the door panel somehow? Neither the inside or outside handles are floppy.

What to do if rear passenger door won’t open?

You can remove the rear passenger door panels while the doors are closed, guess the service manual does not cover that. Use a flashlight to locate the two screws holding the lower panel in place, between the sill plate and bottom door panel, unscrew them.

Why is the rear door on my 01 D2 stuck?

Hi on my 01 D2 , I know this seems like a Old and common problem but….my rear door is stuck closed after changing the rear handle and plate cover and reinstalling the actuator (myself). After fully taking taking the door card off and installing the handle the door has remained stuck closed.

Why is the front passenger door jammed shut?

The front passenger door is jammed shut…ive tried everything i could by pulling the lock thread up with battery connected/ disconnected, locking, deadlocking etc…it feels like the lock has packed up and is stuck in deadlock…except the passenger door doesnt have a outside key lock.

Why is the rear passenger side door not opening?

Rear Passenger Side Door is Jammed, it wont open ! Hello. I can provide you with some information and help guide you. This is never a good scenerio but it can be done opening the door with it stuck like this. It does take a lot of patience and trial and error.

What to do if your car door is jammed?

As the locking knob doesnt go up or down which makes me think its a combination of a packed up lock (which was the original problem i think) and the screw gradually un-lossening itself to now make it jammed You might have to sacrifice the door trim, you will need to tear/break it away to get to the lock mechanism.
