How can I test my F150 EcoBoost engine?
Since this engine is equipped with two turbo’s some testing will have to be performed by connecting a coolantpressure tester with a gauge to the wastegate actuator on each turbo to test them. at 3-9 psi the the rod should begin to extend and 12-19 psi is where it should be fully extended. The rod should move smoothly through out this test.
