Thank you for your time around town it’s fine in 110 plus degree weather only on the highway around 70 ish mph for more than 15 miles is when it starts getting hot however when stuck in stop and go traffic it runs perfectly cool so I’m stumped. This says your dealing with a circulation issue.

Why does my Ford truck not start when its hot?
I have an 89 f 250 mine wont restart when hot. I can move the distributer and it will start again. So weird. When its hot it sounds like the battery is dead and wont turn over till I retard the timing. 83 people found this helpful.
What happens is that after stoppin for around 10 minutes the water starts leaking, but there is no high temperature indication until it lost around half the water, and then it indicates it’s overheating. Check the fan clutch, sometimes they don’t work and the engine is not cooled.
Temp gauge will peg in the red and warning light comes on When you turn the truck off and back on all is ok The ideal engine temperature should be somewhere between 195 and 220 degrees. An engine is operating normally when the needle points at the center or near the center of the gauge.
