Is it normal for GMC Yukon to not go into first gear?

Transmission will not go into gear when warmed up gears t… I put Lucas in the transmission because it was low on transmission fluid and was slipping in over drive then it stopped working at all after I put Lucas in it but when I first start it will go into gear and work fine until I get up the street then lose all gears how can I fix this

Is the GMC Yukon XL having transmission problems?
Our 2002 Yukon XL has been having transmission problems. We are now on number 4 and counting… Four Times in the shop for transmission problems. We got our truck back from the last service in June with 49,000 miles.. we now have 63,000 miles and yes… transmission problems again….
