Amazing Truck, good for work and play. The Ranger is good for work, driving to and from places and having fun. This is the first vehicle I bought used with 73,000 miles. It is the XLT Supercab(no fold down seats or clamshell door though), leather 60/40 seat and has the 4.0L SOHC V6 with the 5-speed automatic and 4×4.

Last week, the heater controll valve broke, but that’s the only problem ever. Interior/exterior still looks new, except for someone backing into it 2 weeks ago. New complete rear bumper/Taillights ($260). In body shop next week (minor damage). Still gets 26 mpg on the hwy. Not a luxury car, but it’s one of the best vehicles I’ve owned.

The same problem happened to our Edge on 3 separate occasions during cold weather. Our Edge is a 2009 model with 15,000 miles. A local dealer had the car for 3 days and could not find the problem. We were told to bring the car back when the problem becomes more frequent.

It has never happened while I was driving always when the vehicle has been turned off. I called Ford Headquarters and filed a complaint it is at the dealership now getting checked out.
