Where is the IAC valve on a Silverado?

Also take a look at your IAC (Idle Air Control) valve, usually located on the side of the throttlebody. They are very easy to change out and tend to go bad. I had a similiar problem and replaced and cleaned may things, still had issue and got truck tuned with a slightly higher idle, as soon as I did it was golden.
