Why is my SSB tractor not moving forward?
I have noticed that when the machine is cold it works fine in forward and reverse, for a short time then slowly gets to the point that it no longer will move at all in forward and barely moves in reverse. I am stumped to this point and would very much appreciate any expert advice on what this could be and how to repair it.
Where does the emergency brake shaft go on a tractor?
Tim: That short shaft that comes out at the bottom of the transmission with the emergency brake rotor on it is the pinion shaft that goes right back to the crown wheel. Fairly common for the spline to wear out on the front of that shaft. New rotor may fix this.
