The dealer took 24 hours of labor to change it out….drop the front suspension cradle/motor to gain access to the front of the motor. 24 hours x $100/hr plus parts, fluids, etc. added up to a $3000.+ job. Yikes! I have an MKZ with the same motor and this is concerning.

……..Seems that HD has had such a high failure rate of the original pumps on the 2014-2016 models that they changed the part number and water pump to the new design only.
