How does the brake system work in a Ford Sierra?

The valves are controlled by the electronic control unit which itself receives signals from the wheel sensors, which monitor the locked or unlocked state of the wheels. A pressure regulating valve is incorporated in the rear hydraulic circuit to maintain the desired pressure ratio between the front and rear circuits.

How to diagnose hard brake pedal master power brakes?

A) With the engine not running, press and depress the brake pedal several times to remove any vacuum from inside the booster. B) On the last push of the brake pedal, hold moderate pressure on the brake pedal. Don’t push like you are panic stopping, but simply hold pressure like you are sitting at a red light.

Why did Goodyear Flush my soft brake pedal?

Took it to goodyear over Thanksgiving weekend (everyone else was closed) and they flushed it with little progress made (maybe a little higher). I asked if they opened the ABS valves during the flush and after three people didn’t know the answer to my question, they asked the tech (who didn’t open the ABS valves)…I won’t be going to them again!

Is there such a thing as a soft brake pedal?

But then it was a super soft pedal. took it around the block, slammed on the brakes a few times and managed to get them to lock up a bit (trying to clear air from the ABS). Then got another almost quart through, and thought some air out (hard to tell doing it alone), but still soft.
