After the truck is in the on position, You need to press and hold the Select/Release knob until OIL LIFE x*x% HOLD RESET = NEW shows up on the display. The next thing to do is press and hold the reset button until for around 2 seconds and then release it to reset the oil life to 100%.

How often should I change the oil in my F-150?
The only detractor is price, but that can be mitigated by the extended service intervals. Many vehicles don’t need an oil change for 10,000 or 15,000 miles. Early commercially available synthetic oils garnered a reputation for ruining seals and causing leaks, but that just doesn’t happen by switching between the oils.
