Why does my dt466e have no oil pressure?
Pulled the tube and checked it. It was fine. Pulled the engine oil pump (on crank) and it looks worn. Light grooving and some wear on the gear lobes in the pump. Leaning towards that being it. With it not filling the front cover i don’t think it’s the pressure Reg but i could be wrong.

This video is all about a repair our shop did on a DT466E International diesel engine. It would not start and we finally found the engine oil pump to be weak along with a scored oil pressure regulator. The engine oil pump feeds the ‘high pressure oil pump’ that runs the HEUI system.
