They are designed to be used on original installation only. It’s unsafe for reuse if there’s additional handling and removal of the connector.

Counterstrike® must be bonded in accordance with the National Electrical Code NFPA 70 Article 250.104 in the same manner as the minimum requirements for rigid metal piping. Counterstrike® CSST is the most economical approach for gas piping to reduce the problem of damage caused by lightning energy.

Can TracPipe fittings be buried?

TracPipe® and TracPipeCC® can be used for direct burial without the need for additional mechanical or corrosion protection.

Can you bend TracPipe?

It is not intended for applications in which during installation, or subsequent to installation, it can be subjected to repeated bending or vibration. TracPipe® and TracPipeCC® must not be used as a flexible connector to a movable appliance (see Annex A).
