Once the engine is started, the pushbutton can be released. If, during a measured mile speed calibration, the speedometer pointer is pointing at 30mph, no signal is getting to the speedometer.
Why does my classic instruments gauge read high?
Connecting more than one device to the sender will cause the gauge to read high. Only the gauge should be connected to the sender (NO fans, other gauges, warning lights, etc…). Make sure you are using a Classic Instruments sender.

When did my speedometer and RMP gauge work?
This morning forvthe first time my speedometer and rmp gauge was working. My speedometer would read 0 and sometimes jump around and twice for about a minute actually work. My rpm gaugevran unusally higher then usual (which i could also hear my engine working harder then usual.
