a locked up fuel pump would blow the fuse. also check at the fuel rail to see if the pump is working. it may have been a clogged line that burned up the first pump which in-turn burned the fuse. and if there is/was a clog then it probably clogged the injectors as well, if fuel is making it to the injectors then you might try running a high quality fuel system / injector cleaner .
Why does the fuel injection fuse blow?
The fuel injector fuse provides power to the injectors using splices therefore enabling one wire to feed 6 injectors. A shorted wire at any of these wires will blow the fuse.
Is there a fuel pump fuse anywhere?
Yes. Almost all vehicles have a fuse in the panel that controls the fuel pump/ECU. Look under the dash, next to the driver side foot panel. Look for ECM, ECU, or fuel. There is also a relay inside the engine compartment on the driver side on the top of the firewall by the hood.
