Can a vacuum leak cause a Yukon to misfire?

Can a vacuum leak cause a Yukon to misfire?

This is definitely not the place to start. Vacuum leak – If your Yukon has a vacuum leak, it can be very difficult for it to get the right air/fuel mixture. This will cause the cylinders to misfire and it’ll throw the P0304 if the leak is around that specific cylinder on the intake manifold.

What’s the oil pressure on a GMC Yukon?

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon that has 108000 miles. Have had issues in the past with oil sending unit this I have replaced 2 times in the last 2 years. Not an expensive fix but a difficult one. Oil pressure has been consistently lower than usual lately but is around 25 psi at idle and normal 40 while driving.

What does cylinder 4 on a GMC Yukon mean?

The engine is also not firing all of the fuel, so raw fuel is also passing through Cylinder 4 into the exhaust. Mileage may suffer as well when your Yukon has P0304 as well. P0304 is a cylinder specific misfire code, which means that Cylinder 4 is misfiring and causing the code.

Is there a 5.3L no compression cylinder?

My father-in-laws 2007 Suburban with 5.3L AFM had lifter issues and low oil pressure at idle (and still has low oil pressure, for my preferences). I pulled the motor when one of the AFM lifters for cylinder #7 failed at 173K.

Why is cylinder 6 on my Chevy Tahoe not compressing?

So, it could be bad lifters causing the compression issue or a fault in the AFM assembly causing an internal oil leak/bypass to the AFM lifters to clyinder 6 and causing them to partially collapse and drop compression. If it’s bad rings on cylinder 6, then there are bigger issues here. Suggestions to look at.
