Can a Chevy Trailblazer lose power on OnStar?
vbell, my information came from a news report that stated that OnStar can now reduce engine power to newer OnStar equipped cars. They do not “deactivate” a car, they reduce power to a safe level so the driver cannot speed away. I would pose the question directly to OnStar, not Chevy or GM.
What to do if your Trailblazer has no power?
You may have a plugged exhaust cat. You can remove the o2 sensor before the cat closest to the engine and see if that helps. Any codes? helpful? The code I received yesterday was to replace the crankshaft position sensor so I did same results.
