Where is the clutch fluid in a Vauxhall Corsa?

Where is the clutch fluid in a Vauxhall Corsa?

Oh, the Corsa has a single fluid reservoir, shared by brake and clutch. It is under a black flap close to windscreen, next to windscreen washer fluid bottle. The clutch fluid exits via a little grey pipe on passenger side. An air-lock in either will not affect the other. Running out of fluid will affect both.

Where is the clutch fluid reservoir on a car?

On most cars with hydraulic clutches, the clutch fluid reservoir is located near the brake master cylinder at the back of the engine bay but is smaller than the brake fluid reservoir. If in doubt as to where to look, consult with your car’s owner’s manual. Check the fluid level in the reservoir.

Where is the clutch resevoir in a Vauxhall?

Hi sween, normally when the slave cylinder goes hyd fluid leaks from the bottom of the gearbox where it mates with the engine. I’m afraid its a gearbox off job to replace. however have a check around the ‘tophat’, its on the top of the box where the hyd pipe enters the box. This can leak and the seals can be replaced with the box on.

Where is the clutch slave in a Vauxhall?

Look at the fluid reservoir on top of the brake master cylinder and you will see that there is a pipe coming out of it (right hand side as you stand looking at the engine) the pipe supplies the clutch master cylinder with fluid which in turn pumps fluid to the clutch slave cylinder when you press the clutch pedal.
