Why does my AC blow warm air at 30 mph?
VW suggests replace compressor, expansion valve, drier and condensor at cost of $2,225 but made no guarantee that problem will be fixed. VW technicians with whom I spoke do not know why the system works while driving at 30 MPH or faster yet blows warm air at slower speeds.
Why is the a / C on my GMC truck not working?
So I took my truck to a mechanic to look at the a/c. It runs and gets somewhat cool but does not get cold. Not even cool enough in 85 degree temps to be comfortable. He checked the freon levels and they were actually high so he got it to the normal levels. No leaks. He checked the filter and it was good but went ahead and replaced it.
Why does my 2005 Tahoe blow hot air?
My 2005 Tahoe hava AC giving hot air problem. AC would suddenly blow hot air just on the driver’s side while the passenger side still blew cold. The only way to correct it was to turn the car off and back on and then it would immediately start blowing cold again. This happens intermitently.
Why is my Chevy Tahoe Air Conditioner not cold?
Most of the time, when your Tahoe’s air isn’t blowing cold enough, it is going to be a lack of refrigerant causing the problem. We recommend having a professional recharge your A/C if it does end up being a coolant issue.

If you have dual zone controls you may have run into this problem before. There is a way to fix this if you’re patient and willing to troubleshoot your way through it.
What does the coolant temperature sensor on a Chevy do?
The coolant temperature sensor on a Chevrolet engine is used by the vehicle’s computer to determine how hot or cold the coolant flowing through the engine block is at any given time, so that the computer knows how to properly run the engine.
What should the engine temp.be for 5.3L?
Same with my ’99 5.3, and it warms up very quickly. They like to have them run pretty hot for emissions reductions, same reason they design them to warm up quickly. Yeah, doesn’t matter how hot or cold it is outside, my gauge stays just left of 210, once the truck reached operating temp. Mine runs just slightly to the left of the 210 also.
What’s the temp on a Silverado Sierra GMC?
Tranny temp was fine as I have a really good aftermarket trans cooler installed. It was hot out as well, roughly 32 deg c (93 deg f). Just wondering how hot is too hot? I was at the top of the hill by the time it reached that temp and it came down quickly once I started heading downhill.
What happens if you run a Chevy Silverado Hot?
The Chevrolet Silverado is a rugged truck that is made for a tough workload. Coolant system failure can eventually cause major engine damage as running the truck hot can lead to head gasket failure or loss of power eventually causing the motor to stop running.
Why is my HVAC not working on my Chevy Silverado?
Pull and reinsert the fuses for the HVAC before starting the truck. If this didn’t work for you try Step 2. If it seems like one side is stuck at one temperature only, it could mean the blend door actuator is no longer working. The actuator turns a door to switch between warm and cold air, but there are multiple actuators in your truck.
What’s the normal temp of a car engine?
The normal range of temperature for a vehicle’s engine is 195 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The radiator and cooling system can maintain this temperature range with a liquid mixture of 50 percent antifreeze and 50 percent water. When the temperature of the engine goes above 200 degrees, boiling of the coolant solution can cause overheating.
What happens when your a / C unit is idle?
When you are at idle, you are not producing as much pressure as when you are accelerating. So if your freon levels are low, then when you idle you very well may not get any cold air through the vent. As A/C runs like a giant circle of pressure, you need to make sure all the levels are sustained at all times.
