Quite simply they share the same body, however the W115 cars are the 4 cylinder petrol and all diesel models (200, 220, 230.4, 200D, 220D, 240D, and 240D 3.0 I believe) whereas the W114 is the 6 cylinder cars (230, 230.6, 250, 280, 280E etc). All coupes will be W114 since they are all 6 cylinder cars.
