How does power seat work on Chrysler Town and Country?

39 people found this helpful. replaced switch and tested with a test light getting power to hot lead on switch when energized other less light up. the fuse panel looks good. the fuse box says there is only one fuse for power seats. the passenger side works fine also the heated seat does work on the drivers side also. 21 people found this helpful.

Middle fold & store seat does not release to collapse into the floor behind driver. The release won’t work. Prior to current problem seat didn’t go into store position with out a fight. The 3rd row fold down seat, (double seat), retractable leg locks won’t fold down in the floor position.

How to fix a 2011 Chrysler T & C power seat?

The module underneath the seat (on the floor) had to be reset. You need to disconnect all attached plugs and then reconnect. Then move the seat at max travel in all direction on all axis to reset the computer travel movement. That was a fix for me. 2011 Chrysler T&C.

Why does my power seat move forward but not back?

Check for power and ground to the motor while using the switch; if they are available upon command, then the motor is faulty and in need of replacement. However, since the motor moves the seat forward and only needs the voltage reversed to move the seat in reverse, I suspect the switch is faulty and will need to be replaced.
