Is there a remote that will open the trunk?
I have a 2008 chrysler 300. trunk will not open with button or remote. Had to tie rope from trunk release through rear seat. Can any body help!? I have the same problem here…
Why does my 300 limited not open the trunk?
My 300 Limited is at 130K mile so no more warranty. Any advice is appreciated. is it in ‘park’ ? Yep, car is in Parked. try looking for a broken wire in the decklid jumper, about halfway between the trunk latch and the lower corner of the trunk lid….the cable bundle gets pinched when closing the trunk.

My 2005 300c with 67,xxx miles just had this problem with the trunk not opening with the key fob or dash button. Read thru this forum and another to find out solutions to this problem.

My only thought now is to replace the whole latch unit (attached to the trunk satety release). However, I’m not sure how to remove it as it seems to require a special tool.
