Wheel bearings make a roar and it gets louder when your in a turn. If it is only one wheel bearing, it will only get louder turning in one direction, quieter when turning in the other direction. I would consider a wheel bearing to be unlikely. My order of likelihood is center differential, struts, CV joints.
