At the top of image 5, you will see the Smart Junction Box or Cabin Fuse Box. The first wire coming out of it reading from left to right is the Violet/gray wire. Everything branching off from it is missing its backlighting.

1. Disconnect the wiring connector from the original transmission mounted PNP switch. 2. Connect the new switch to the wiring connector. 3. Return to Step #4 above and observe the display as you rotate the switch. If all positions indicate properly, refer to the Correction section below.
