When does the engine cut off after warm maintenance?
Yea after the engine warms up is when I have problems. When its cold it starts without any issues. After its warmed up it will cut off, and then I can get it to come back on after a couple tries but as soon as I put it in gear it dies on me.
Why does my boat cut off when its cold?
When its cold it starts without any issues. After its warmed up it will cut off, and then I can get it to come back on after a couple tries but as soon as I put it in gear it dies on me. I just confirmed since my ignition is ran off points instead of an electronic ignition, it will not have an ignition module. So that’s out of the question now.
When does a boat run rough and cut FF?
If our boats vapor lock it’s usually a really really hot day and after the boat’s run hard and then shut down. It’s never happened to me or anyone I know personally. Only happens on newer efi boats with high pressure lines. I would usually guess it’s the carb, but if that was rebuilt correctly idk.

What to do when your 8N dies when hot?
Replaced the radiator cap cause it didn’t seem to be holding pressure, then went back to the parts store for some stop leak after it did pressurize. Nearly chopped my finger off while flushing out the radiator, turns out that the fan blade is a little closer to the bottom hose than I thought.

What causes a small engine to miss when hot?
After the engine heats up, it begins to miss. The miss doesn’t happen often at first, but as the engine gets hotter, the miss gets worse until it finally stalls out. After a couple of minutes, I can start again, only to have it miss and stall a couple minutes later. First, I tested the ignition coil.

The fuel evaporates when the fuel lines get to hot. Make sure that you route them away from the engine block etc. Also reevaluate your ignition system, make sure that it does not get to hot. Take a look at your spark plug and see if it burns the fuel okay.
What can cause an electric motor to overheat?
Any electric motor that is being asked to operate equipment whose forced exceed the motor’s rated capacity will run hot and will ultimately burn-up, or fail to start. If the motor starts and runs normally when disconnected from its load but has trouble starting when re-installed, the problem could be on the load end

Why does my motorcycle engine stall when warm?
And the problem is often worse on a hot day. The dreaded stalling issue when the engine is warm is the most common idle problem and it is mostly related to the very lean air/fuel ratio on the modern fuel injected motorcycle engine. Why does my motorcycle stall at idle when the engine is warmed up and at operating temperature ? – Low compression.
