Will my Optus modem work with another provider?
If you’re upgrading from ADSL to HFC, FTTP, FTTC, Fixed Wireless, or Satellite NBN, you won’t be able to use your existing modem. For example, taking your Telstra or Optus NBN modem to another provider will disable 4G backup and you won’t be able to use the modem for phone calls.
