What is an Archon priest?
Archons (also known as Archon Priests) are high priests of the Fallen, who act as the intermediary between the Kell and the Prime Servitor of each House.
What does Archon mean?
1 : a chief magistrate in ancient Athens. 2 : a presiding officer.
Who is Kell destiny?
A Kell is a leader of a Fallen House. Fallen Houses tend to collapse and turn against each other if the Kell falls, but nobles of Houses have been known to rise to power and replace former Kells.

How were archons chosen?
Under the Cleisthenic constitution (508–c. 487), archons were elected directly by the Ecclesia; later they were chosen by lot from 500 previously elected candidates. Until 457 the office was still restricted to the top two classes. The archons thus became primarily judicial officers.

However, Skolas was freed by Xûr. From there he returned to the Reef, igniting a brutal uprising that left many Awoken dead and breached the Prison of Elders, allowing his lieutenants to escape. Rallying the Wolves, Skolas declared himself Kell of Kells and set out to unite the other Houses under his banner.
