Why do my rocker shafts make a tapping noise?
My research discovered that the noise is caused by the factory’s sloppy fit between the rocker shafts and the hold down bolts meant to keep them in place. The rocker shafts are allowed to side in & out, and rotate, hitting the bolts at high frequency & creating that awful tapping noise.
