Hiya, I’d recommend Benalmadena staying nearer to the Marina/24hr square. Fuengirola is nice, much flatter and has a long street (fish alley) lined with lovely restaurants and quite a number of bars but I wouldn’t say that it would’ve been my cup of tea on a group holiday in my 20’s.
