You can get a Grand Cherokee with the Mercedes blutec for about $40 grand. Im happy with my CRD but I have masochistic tendencies. If you actually need a tight turning radius, very good fuel economy, 5,000 # towing capacity and excellent off-pavement capabilities then buy one and live with the consequences.
