The castle is well worth a visit for the stunning views across the lakes. The castle was built in the 15th century and has alot of history and stories. There is a excellent, informative guided tour. The grounds, adjacent to Killarney National Park, are beautiful.

This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Took in hte castle as part of an extended walking weeeknd in Kilarney National Park. Its well maintained and and adds a touch of history to a walk. The walk was excellent !
