How do I unplug drivers door wiring loom?
Once you’ve got it back into it’s hole slide the purple tab at the top of the multiplug housing towards the front of the car and this will lock it back into place ready for the door loom plug to be plugged back into it.

Re-insert the purple securing pin and push home – should click locked. If your wire still pops out when given a little tug then the metal connector end is broken and you need to get a repair wire to replace it.

Is there a failure of the lift gate control module?
I have experienced what appears to be a failure of the Lift Gate Control module. I have a 2002 TrailBlazer LS, standard wheelbase. I have checked with a multimeter and confirmed a good ground and 12 v through the wires to the lift gate and there is no evidence of broken wires.
What should I do if I Lost my liftgate remote?
Just checking to make sure you know you have a good data communication wire, since it can flex and break inside the wire insulation hidden by a rubber boot up at the liftgate hinge line and not be obvious. Assume you’ve just lost the use of the remote unlock function, rear wiper, and defogger.
