Sorry for the bad news, nobody wants to go to the dealer. I have a similar problem with a recently “inherited” a used (but in decent shape) Chrysler 300 Limited AWD with almost 50,000 miles on the odometer.
What kind of lights work on Chrysler 300?
No lights on dash work (accessory lights) ac and cd player dont work either. Headlights, interior lights, trunk lights all good. I have checked battery, starter, and looked for loose grounds.
Where is the IoD fuse on a Chrysler 300?
Remove the IOD fuse, It’s the fuse enclosed in a black or clear holder in the fuse block in the trunk. It wont come all the way out, just squeeze the tabs on the sides and lift it up about 1/4 inch to disengage it. (if you are confused you can find detailed info on the location of the IOD fuse in your owners manual)
What was the problem with my Chrysler 300C?
They replaced that, buttoned things up and called me Monday, saying the tech test drove the vehicle and the problem had been fixed and that my 300C was ready to be picked up. So I came in that day, paid the $281 bill and was on my way back home… or so I thought.

This is a known problem on 05’s and 06’s you need to go to a dealer and have the tranny flash update done! Follow up: Replaced the Electrohydraulic Control unit, which includes 2 new speed sensors. Got the 300C back today and she’s running the way it should be.
